Welcome to Portage Community High School!

Portage Community High School is another option for middle school, high school, and adult students who want to earn a high school diploma.  We believe that all students can learn and can be successful in school, but that students often require a different environment and different approaches to learning in order to reach their full potential.

Incentives are built into our programs to promote good attendance and foster personal and educational growth.  Class sizes are kept small to allow for personal attention and flexibility in meeting the needs of every student.  Our curriculum is diverse and attempts to accommodate varied student interest.  Field trips and community resources are frequently used as part of the learning process.  Credit may also be awarded to students who have gained skills through jobs, community classes, or volunteer work.

Community High School also provides Students On Campus Care.  SOCC is child care for the children of our Community High School students. For more information, please contact Janet Hall at 323-6769 or jhall@portageps.org

The staff of Portage Community High School is dedicated to providing the best education possible in a safe, secure, and caring environment.
